Workout Log Converter

Your training history, ready for Pawer.

Paste your workout notes or upload a file. The converter reads the exercises, sets, reps and weights, and gives you a CSV file to import into Pawer.

Weights in your log are in

Auto reads the unit from your log. Pick one if your log never says.

Your text is converted by an AI model and is not stored by us. You can convert 3 logs a day.

How to import the file into Pawer

The file is made for Pawer's built-in importer. It takes about a minute on your iPhone.

  1. Download the file

Tap Download CSV. On iPhone, choose Save to Files so you can find it again.

  2. Open Pawer settings

Open Pawer and go to the Settings tab.

  3. Choose the file

Tap Import Data, then Choose CSV File, and pick pawer-import.csv.

  4. Check the exercises

Most exercises match Pawer's library on their own. Tap anything under Needs Review to pick the right exercise, or leave it to add it as your own.

  5. Import

Tap the Import button at the bottom. Your workout history and personal records fill in straight away.

What comes across

Workout dates and titles, exercises in order, and every set with its weight, reps, time or distance. Warm up sets, drop sets and supersets are kept. Weights in pounds are converted to kilograms in the file, and Pawer shows them in whichever unit you use.

Notes, RPE, rest times and body weight are not imported. Pawer also needs reps, a time or a distance for a set, so a line with only a weight is left out.

Frequently asked questions

What can I convert?

Any workout log with exercises and sets: notes from your phone, a Google Sheets or Excel spreadsheet, a Word document, a PDF program from a coach, or an export from another app. Paste the text or upload a Word, PDF, Excel, CSV or text file up to 5 MB.

Is my data stored?

No. Your text is converted by an AI model and the result comes straight back to your browser. We do not keep the text or the file, and it is not used to train AI models. Files are read on your device, so only their text is sent.

I use Strong or Hevy. Do I need this?

No. Pawer imports Strong and Hevy exports directly. Export your history as CSV from the app, then open Pawer, go to Settings and tap Import Data.

Why is there a daily limit?

Every conversion runs through an AI model that costs money to use. A small daily limit keeps the converter free for everyone. A conversion that fails on our side does not count.

My log is huge. Will it work?

Logs of a few years usually convert in one go. Long logs are split into parts and converted together, which can take a minute or two. If yours is over the limit, convert a year at a time and import each file. Pawer skips workouts it already has.

How are kg and lbs handled?

Leave the unit on Auto and the converter reads it from your log. If your log never mentions a unit, pick kg or lbs before converting. Everything is saved in kilograms in the file, and Pawer shows your weights in the unit you choose in the app.

What if my log has no dates or no years?

Missing years are worked out from the dates around them. A workout with no date at all takes the date of the workout before it. Check the date range shown with your file before you import.

How accurate is it?

Clear logs convert very accurately. Messy shorthand can be misread now and then, so check that the number of workouts and the date range look right. Pawer also shows every exercise before anything is saved, so you can fix a match before you import.

What happens if I import the same file twice?

Nothing is doubled. Pawer skips any workout that starts at the same time as one already in your history.

Can I use it on my phone?

Yes. Paste from your notes app or pick a file from Files, then download the CSV and import it in Pawer on the same phone.
